What are the odds of being struck by lightning this year? Maybe one in 500,000? And what about being struck twice? Probably astronomical. A normal person needn't even bother.
Here's what happens more often - an unpleasant experience of the same kind: An organist failing to prepare for public performance because of the same reasons. A teacher reacting the same way to the bullying of selfish students. A telemarketer being scolded for calling a family during a dinner without their permission. If you find yourself in an unfortunate déjà vu, there's no guarantee that lightning won't strike the third time, unless you start asking "why"?
