After I mastered all 6 Canonic Studies, Op. 56 for pedal piano by Robert Schumann I was completely hooked on this fascinating German Romantic composer and wanted to know more about his compositions which could be playable on the organ. He also wrote 4 Sketches, Op. 58 and 6 Fugues on B-A-C-H, Op. 60. The sketches seemed more manageable then the fugues to start with. So one day not long ago I started practicing Sketch No. 1 in C Minor. It's an amazed piece but actually not too easy to play. I spent a week or so with it, but other 3 sketches will require probably more practice time. Hope you will enjoy my rendition on the great organ at Vilnius University St. John's church.
