In a recent event at Vilnius University Aula Parva I was asked to play a few pieces of Polish music on the organ. For the opening I chose one of the most well-known preludes by Stanisław Moniuszko (1819-1872), a father of Polish Romanticism who also worked as an organist at Vilnius St. John's church. This piece is based on the famous Polish hymn "Kto się w opiekę" (Who will take care of his Lord). Even though it is a lovely one-manual organ, I managed to create an impression of manual changes. Hope you will enjoy it!
