Our Patreon is moving to BMC

Since last Christmas I have been sharing our early access videos both here on Patreon and on Buy Me a Coffee (BMC) platform simultaneously. It has been a good way to compare the two. And now after 5 months of testing I can definitely say that BMC is way better both for creators and for supporters.

Here are a few reasons why BMC is better for supporters:

1. Supporters don't have to pay VAT (Value Added Tax) meaning it is cheaper to support someone in the EU, like us.

2. Supporters can choose between monthly and yearly (discounted) subscriptions.

3. Supporters can choose between membership subscriptions and one time donations or they can do both when they want to.

Here are a few reasons why BMC is better for creators:

1. Creators can sell extras (like consultations, sponsorships etc.).

2. Creators can have a store to sell products.

3. Creators can have stream alerts during YouTube livestreams when someone buys a coffee.

Therefore starting from June 1, 2021 I will unpublish this Patreon page and migrate all future postings to BMC. My current Patrons will not be billed anymore and will have to choose if they want to support us on BMC to keep getting early access to our videos.
