Strictly forbidden. Only in double harmonic minor, frygian, and locrian modes. And whole tone mode, if you want. Because major mode may produce a smile or trust in your own powers. If by accident you would touch upon the lydian mode - you risk getting excommunicated or would be banned from the reed stops for an entire year. Be careful and don't play in 3/4 meter just in case. You never know, maybe they will confuse the Holy Trinity symbolism with the demonized waltz. All of this is valid only for music played on the organ, of course. If you play the guitar, anything will sound just fine.
