Let's pretend I couldn't play for several months.
Maybe because of sickness or work problems,
maybe family emergency.
If I wanted to regain what I have achieved in organ practice,
I would simply go through the old practice process
that I've done before - you know my routine -
work in small fragments, slow tempo, separate voices at first,
then all two-part and three-part combinations
before playing entire four-part texture.
If I had mastered this piece before,
now the process of practice will take fewer repetitions,
hence I will get results faster
than learning from scratch.

Don't have an organ at home?
Download paper manuals and pedals, print them out, cut the white spaces, tape the sheets together and you'll be ready to practice anywhere where is a desk and floor. Make sure you have a higher chair.
