I recently bought a few Flic smart buttons with the goal of attaching it to my Hauptwerk setup and configure to use them as thumb pistons for stepper + and - sequencer. I haven’t been able to achieve it yet but today I installed MIDI Keyboard app on my Android phone and with the help of MIDI to USB cable and adapter I was able to connect it to my Steinberg audio interface. Since Steinberg is recognized as a MIDI device in Hauptwerk settings, I was able to assign a couple of keys of my MIDI keyboard on the phone to work as a stepper. In this video, I demonstrate it in action on the Velesovo sample set with different registrations. Hope you will enjoy it!
