Have you noticed that trios are usually more difficult to play than any other organ texture? This is because they have 3 completely independent melodic lines. If you're struggling with organ trios, I think you will find this tutorial useful. It has been requested by my friend and supporter Rien Schalkwijk. Example piece for today's tutorial will be Trio No. 1 from Op. 49 by Joseph Rheinberger but these 15 steps would work on any other trio, such as trio sonata, chorale prelude written in trio texture etc.
