Many times your practice doesn't go according to your wishes. Other people would call it a mistake. But to you it's wonderful to see how the music unfolds and to use those "mistakes" as turning points for the musical story, even if it means you have to be comfortable at not knowing what is coming up around the corner.
It doesn't matter, if the playing is good or bad. What matters the most is that you had the privilege of doing the work today. And you hope some people will be changed by it. Fruitful failures. That's what it's all about. Whoever fails the most - wins. So go find more opportunities to fail. Fail often, fail cheap, learn from it, repeat. Organ Improvisation in Eb
