Today's guest is Joris Verdin, organist, musicologist, and composer from Belgium. He teaches organ at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp and is professor of organology at the University of Leuven, Belgium.

He has recorded over forty CDs as a soloist, spanning many musical eras and styles. His main areas of interests are 19th century French organ and harmonium school.

In this conversation Prof. Verdin shares his revolutionary insights about performance practice issues in the organ works of Cesar Franck.
