If you didn't ask for it, if you didn't anticipate this message, if it's not relevant to you - it's spam. You won't look at this person the same way in the future.
Sometimes, though, you are willing to suspend disbelieve out of respect of mutual trust. This can happen only if the trust was earned in the first place.
