A remarkable performance is not when you play very fast or slow. A remarkable performance is not when play very loud or soft. And it's certainly not when you play without mistakes.
A remarkable performance happens when you do something people feel compelled to share with a friend before they go to bed tonight. It rarely happens but when it does, neither you nor your listeners will forget it. That would be live-changing art.
