Today I took my camera to church and recorded a video with a live demonstration of 5 sorts of tetrachords. They are very useful to know for every organist because they serve as a basis for constructing different scales and modes. We use scales and modes all the time in improvisation so I hope you will find this video helpful.
After you watch this video, you can practice playing, writing and singing them from any of the white keys (easier) and later from any of the black keys (more difficult) up and down.
