Are you spinning your wheels in organ playing? Do you feel like you are not getting anywhere where you want to go? Have you exhausted all possibilities for progress and still the results are kind of the same?
Maybe you need to change a perspective. Maybe you need to look at your organ practice from a fresh angle. And you know what's one of the best ways to do that? Take a break and go do something which you haven't done before. Anything. Actually something which you are unlikely to do ever again. For some people it might be skydiving. For others - reading poetry or going for a walk into the forest and listening to the sounds of the creek. Remember, you don't have to play 7 or 8 hours a day hoping to have a break-though. Sometimes a breakthrough will come suddenly, when you look with awe at bumblebee.
