I couple of days ago I shared with you my rehearsal on the largest mechanical organ in the world before improvising for an hour "David and Goliath". I hope that today you will enjoy the actual recital recording.
When there were about 5 minutes before the end of the recital, the power of the blower disappeared. Make sure you listen the very end of the recording to see what happened... Luckily it wasn't the middle or the beginning, isn't it?
This was truly the first time in my life when organ turned off during the recital... Difficult to describe in words that feeling when you're left alone on the organ bench, trying to turn on the blower multiple times and the listeners don't have a clue of what's happening, even though they see the video of you on the screen...
Organizer later explained to me that the organ builder checked and it turned out that the electricity company forgot to make the connection for one of the phases. It was not enough power.
Listen to the recording here and let me know what you thought.
Maybe David killed Goliath after all...:))
