The concept of "Artist" works not only for musicians, writers, dancers, painters, or actors.
Everyone of us are being artists when we do something which touches another human being, when we don't act like robots, obediently following instructions, when we try to change something for the better with our generosity and vulnerability. A security guard who says "have a nice day" in way that you start believing this day will actually be nice; a salesperson ushering her customer to the shop of her competition because the needs of this customer will be better fulfilled there; a politician who admits his wrongdoing and exposes the system; a doctor calling her patient at home simply to ask how is he feeling today etc. In reality, we don't have time these days for anything but an artist, we don't give our precious attention and trust (and money) to anybody but an artist who acts in contrast with what economic logic says (if you want to give, you must first get). It turns out that when you act in the opposite way (if you want to get, you first give a 100 times), for someone you become indispensable. ________________________________ Ending on Friday: My offer to create fingering and pedaling for the organ piece of your choice. ________________________________ Don't miss: Vidas Pinkevicius Private Coaching (offer ends on Saturday) ________________________________ Organ Improvisation in Ab
