I was SO overwhelmed by the answers people sent me yesterday when I asked them that I needed their help in deciding what it was they we're struggling with in organ playing. More than 50 people replied, many of them couldn't pick just one area.
I wrote my answer to each and every one of them yesterday and this morning. Last night my keyboard was so fried and I was glued to the computer for several hours responding to people.
Again, thank you so much for all of you who wrote to me. I usually am excited when I write to people but today the excitement does not even begin to describe what I feel.
Many of you sent not a single sentence or phrase, like Organ Practice, Organ Registration, Organ Technique, Sight-Reading, or Organ Repertoire but shared the entire story of your life and your struggles and passions for which I'm deeply grateful.
It seems to me that I have limited the list to 5 areas only quite needlessly. There were quite a few individuals who wanted to learn more about improvisation and hymn-playing, too. Some even demanded help with learning harmony and music theory.
In order to satisfy their needs and help them grow as organists, I will include them in this program. It's amazing to me how many people wanted to take the time to answer to me individually. This means a lot to me.
It already feels like this program is going to be of tremendous value to people and something that I have never done before at this level. To tell you the truth I feel like together we are about to create something very unique and life-changing for the entire Secret of Organ Playing community.
So if you haven't replied to my question what areas of organ playing are the most challenging for you currently, go ahead and push the reply button and send me your answers. Be as specific as possible because this will help me fine tune this training program to your specific needs.
