Yesterday I have spent all day at home doing almost nothing. It was raining all day long. I didn't have to go anywhere so I didn't. Practised organ and finished reading Eat, Pray, Love. I hope to be more active in the future.
Yesterday @organduo and I went to an organ recital at St Casimirus church. I walked most of my steps while going from the car to the church and back. The path went through a large hill and afterwards my Fitbit device showed 16 floors. After the recital I wished our car was parked further away and we could have walked even more.
Yesterday I did a lot of house cleaning. Harder than to run a marathon for me. Was very hot and humid. According to Fitbit l climbed 11 floors. Also drew Pinky and Spiky comic about Spiky the dressmaker. Had pizza for lunch and read Eat, Pray, Love. Was going to watch romantic movie on TV at night but because of heavy rain and thunder TV signal shut down. More reading...
Rather uneventful day. Today I worked in my garden, prepared lunch for @organduo and my parents, walked to the supermarket and back, read Elizabeth Gilbert. Saw little bird from up close in the garden and later our neighbor's cat. I hope he didn't catch the bird.
@organduo and I returned from Marijampole where we visited my cousin. After breakfast at her apartment my aunt came in for some coffee. Then we went to the market and my cousin bought us some local bread, honey, meat and cookies to bring home. The drive home was long and tiresome but we visited and cleaned my family cemetery on our way back plus bought some baumkuchen, a traditional Lithuanian cake. In Vilnius we had a late lunch at my parents home, then went home to unpack, relax a little and finished the day with a nice walk in the woods.
Today @organduo and I visited my cousin in Mariampole, a city with 40000 people in the southwest of Lithuania. I was impressed how much improved public spaces and parks were here. With the exception of sitting in the restaurant we did several laps around the center of the city. According to my fitbit bracelet I walked 19905 steps today but my phone registered over 25000 steps.
Today is the day I'm testing my FitBit Charge 2 device that @organduo gave me as an early birthday present. We walked to my parent's house for lunch. After that I took a nap and drew my Pinky and Spiky comic. Then we went for another walk in the woods and ate ripe raspberries in our garden when we came back.
Today I walked 18474 steps. Most of them I did when hunting for mushrooms in the woods with @organduo. After lunch I took a nice nap, drew my Pinky and Spiky comic and was a couch potato after that.
Walked 16103 steps today. Most of them were spent on my way to my parent's house at lunchtime and then taking a walk in the woods with @organduo in the evening. We found a few mushrooms which we brought to my mom. I think mushrooms are starting to pop up and tomorrow we will go deeper into the woods to look for them.
Today I did some laundry, read "Eat, Pray, Love", practiced organ - played Chorale No. 2 by Cesar Franck and Offertory on Two Christmas Themes by Alexander Guilmant. Went for a walk with @organduo in the woods looking for mushrooms. Found some but not boletus.
Walked 14102 steps today. |
