When you feel an emotional chaos in your mind, when you don't know what to do next, when you can't figure out your daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly goals, the act of doing something that you know you need to do but for various reasons delay doing is the best the weapon to combat Resistance (as Steven Pressfield calls it).
When you are aware of this weird internal force which may give you a thousand valuable excuses not to do what really matters and you are still going ahead with your practice, you are being a hero. A small hero, maybe, but nevertheless very brave.
Then and only then miracles happen, ideas come, inspiration strikes, divine powers intervene, your mind clears and you know what you are going to do next.
It may not sound easy but it is. Simply sit down on the organ bench and see what happens.
