I'm starting my Vidas Live Coaching program.
I feel very excited.
We are using Zoom platform, the same technology which lets me conduct my Secrets of Organ Playing Podcast interviews.
People can use any device or platform to join - phone, tablet, laptop, PC, Mac, Linux, iOS or Android.
Zoom has a special calling number for the phone connection and special URL to join over the internet. International phone numbers are also available.
I can record those calls and distribute them later for people who signed up for these coaching sessions to review so that they wouldn't need to take notes while I'm answering their questions.
I'm expecting an active participation of the students because after all, it's all for their benefit - to help them advance to the next level in organ playing faster.
So I would like people to ask me questions about any area of organ playing - organ practice, technique, manual playing, pedal playing, fingering, repertoire, sight-reading, registration, improvisation, composition, music theory, harmony, hymn playing and anything else that students feel stuck on.
The main idea here is for me to help them get unstuck and give them guidance and personal feedback so that they could reach their organ playing dreams faster than they would do it on their own.
We'll be doing this every Thursday from 12 PM to 1 PM Eastern Time. Check your time zone. The next session is April 27. Mark your calendar.
On rare occasions I'll have to reschedule but I'll announce this in advance. We'll make it up on another day.
Even if some students can't join live because of the time difference, they can still send me questions via email to answer on the coaching call later.
Total Organist students can do it free of charge. But they still have to register for Vidas Live Coaching. This can be done from their Total Organist profile page when they login.
The idea of course here is to put everyone on a separate mailing list for this program so that I could send audio recordings and special announcements to them without missing a beat.
I'm so excited to be able to use this new technology to help you grow as an organist.
After doing 91 podcast interviews I'm confident that it'll work for you too. The last interview I recorded was yesterday morning with the German organ builder Oliver Schulte who specializes in restoring old English organs.
This conversation will be published this Sunday so stay tuned and if you haven't done it already, check the details for Vidas Live Coaching.
Let me know if you have any further questions about it.
I'll see you on the inside!
