All of this can happen because of attachment to our past experiences and projecting them to the new reality. We remember the old feeling at the old organ that we spend the most time with and we feel attached to it regardless of what the new situation is.
You can change this by noticing things as they really are. It sounds simple but actually is very hard. Our minds constantly wander from the past to the future making it exceedingly difficult to stay in the present.
The key here is breath. If you deliberately notice your breath, things will appear a little bit like in a slow motion. Breath focuses your attention to the present moment.
Notice your breath and you will adjust to the new organ easier.
